Hi Ron,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your thoughts! I agree that your reason to keep the letter in case you want to refer back to it could serve some people. It was recommended to rip it up so that it represented a closure of the past and a true goodbye. Also it was to be destroyed so that one didn’t go back and re-read it ;). If someone is able to just pack it away for later reference I think that’s great. We can take what we want from the advice given and leave what doesn’t serve us :).
