Hi Sabita,

I hear what you’re saying I think — how can you change beliefs that you hold so closely and strongly? Just because someone is intelligent doesn’t mean it’s easy to just change what they inherently believe. That’s why I see it as crucial to check the other side of something when we think we’re right about it. I can’t count how many times I have believed something wholeheartedly only to find out it wasn’t the truth. Since I’ve had these experiences I have really tried to play detective more so that I can get to the real truth of the matter instead of just believing what I’ve always believed. We are all on a journey and I think it’s a step by step process. We get to be kind to ourselves as we work to discover more :)

In friendship,

Alana
