Jeff,

I do love reading your responses! This is actually the only area of my life that there is drama. Otherwise I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter, a wonderful supportive husband, a great teaching career, awesome friends, a fantastic church and a big heart. Unfortunately this situation came into my life and I let it nearly destroy me. I care deeply about people and my friends are very important to me. To give up on Jamie, even with all the issues, felt wrong. I guess I thought I could handle it however it ended up hurting me much more than I ever thought it could. It was a messed up situation — one I hope I’ve learned enough from to never repeat again.

In friendship,

Alana
