Reading this article makes me sad – not only for the abuse you suffered, but because all Christians seem to be grouped into one big conglomeration of ugliness. Yes we aren’t perfect but I (& the Christians I do life with) are all doing our best. We don’t abuse (although some of us have been abused). We allow Jesus to mentor us, refining us every day. We try to do what we can to bring health, love and joy into this world. I’m so sad you went through what you did but please don’t group all Christians into one massive bundle of negativity. Some of us are really trying to honour God in all we do (& that’s between us and Jesus).
